The term “double drawn” refers to a process by which the hair is gathered from the original donor and prepared for extension making purposes. When hair is “double drawn” it essentially means that the hair is sorted through twice during the gathering process to ensure that shorter hairs are removed and you are left with the majority of the hair strands being the same length and fullness all the way through the ends.

#3 Why does it matter?

Double drawn hair is thick all the way to the ends due to the process of removing the short hairs twice. This improves the appearance of hair extensions, and also eliminates many of the split ends, ensuring a healthy yet natural looking result.

#4 Is double drawn hair always the best choice?

For most people yes, however there are instances where a person might opt for single drawn or triple drawn hair instead.
