WARRANTY CLAIMS

Miellee Hair Company maintains the upmost standards in the production of our products. We stand behind the quality of the items we sell, which is why we offer a 30 day warranty against manufacturing defects for all our products (except items ON SALE which are final sale and not eligible for returns or warranty).

THIS IS HOW TO FILE A CLAIM :
1) Send an email to info@miellee.com with subject line 'Warranty Claim'. Please include your order number, describe the issue, and attach relevant photos to your message. We will respond to your claim as quickly as possible with instructions about how and where to mail your item for inspection.
2) Be prepared to mail the extensions back shortly after filing your claim. As soon as we respond to your claim, your extensions will need to be mailed back within 2 days.
3) Once the hair is returned to us, our quality control team will inspect the product(s) to determine if the product(s) are in fact flawed due to manufacturing defects. PLEASE NOTE : We test all products returned to us to ensure that they are genuine Miellee Hair products and to ensure that they have not been mistreated or falsely returned.
4) In the event that the hair is deemed defective, we will issue you either a full or partial store credit effective immediately (NO cash refunds, store credit ONLY). The amount of store credit will be determined based on a number of factors, including usage, purchase date and claim date.
5) In the event that the hair is NOT deemed defective, the extensions will be returned to you and shipping fees will not be refunded.
 
The warranty DOES NOT cover the following :
  • Normal variations and imperfections in color, texture, and construct which are to be expected of custom made hair extensions featuring raw organic natural human hair. These variations are an intrinsic quality of hand-made hair extensions and are therefore not considered a defect.
  • Slight variations in color due to lighting, photos, or the device on which you are viewing the color. All of products are photographed in natural light and color can only be evaluated in similar lighting conditions (indoor light, fluorescent light, dim light, etc will alter the appearance of the color).
  • Issues related to improper application or handling of the products.
  • Defects from improper use or improper care of the product. Please note that light blondes, silver/greys and very long hair will require more maintenance than short hair and darker colors. One may need to adjust his/her hair care routine accordingly.
  • Defects due to hair styling, hair care, product usage or environmental factors outside of our control.
  • Defects due to haircuts, chemical processes, or any other permanent changes to the product.
  • Excessive use of heat or styling tools.
  • Lack of moisture and essential oils applied to the hair.
  • Characteristics which are deemed normal for authentic human hair including but not limited to response to weather conditions, hair care routine, styling habits. 
  • Normal amounts of shedding, tangling, frizziness or dryness attributed to aunthentic natural human hair. 
  • Fading of colors over time, particularly our ashy, red, silver, and fantasy colors which require extra care and maintenance due to the nature of such colors.
  • Claims filed after the 30 day cut off.

PLEASE NOTE :

In order to file a claim, you will need to send the hair back to us to be inspected, and no exceptions can be made to this rule.

Customers are responsible for shipping charges to return the product back to us. Return shipping will not be added into the store credit. 

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges (both ways) on returned items that are not determined to be defective.

Import fees, taxes, and duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer and will not be added into the store credit.

Warranty replacements / store credits can only be issued 1 time per order. Once a replacement or store credit is issued for an order, you cannot file a second warranty claim for the same order.

Miellee Hair Company DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES, STATUTORY WARRANTIES, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON INFRINGEMENT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL MIELLEE HAIR COMPANY BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUDING DAMAGES FROM LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOST PROFITS, LITIGATION, OR THE LIKE), SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATING TO THE PRODUCT OR YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT.
